This R2D2 cake was to celebrate my oldest child's 9 year old birthday. While far from perfect, it definitely tested my patience and taught me a lot about covering a big cake with fondant. I was still putting the finishing touches on when his friends showed up for the party, but they all enjoyed watching it get put together.
